For my usability evaluation project on the Coursera mobile app, guided by Dr. Devanuj K. Balkrishan, I worked alongside a team of three researchers from JK Lakshmipat University. We aimed to assess the user experience by focusing on common tasks such as logging in, setting reminders, enrolling in courses, and managing downloads. Our approach was closely aligned with Coursera's mission of providing accessible education to all , and we were determined to uncover any usability challenges users faced.

The project involved two phases: the first was conducting in-depth interviews with 10 users to understand their demographics, Coursera experience, and learning goals. The second phase took place on-site, where we carried out live usability tests with 6 participants , observing their interactions with the app. Through this hands-on process, we identified areas that hindered the app's full potential and suggested actionable design interventions for a more seamless experience.
